This weekend we were guests of Skybet at Doncaster Racecourse for the Skybet Chase meeting. One of the top National Hunt meetings we were delighted to accept and had a fantastic time with superb racing cards across the afternoon, even better, the heavily pregnant wife meant I could indulge in the complimentary bar with no fear.. Excellent food, conversation and punditry were had.
From the seven races we had returns in six with the star pick being in the first where we landed a 16/1 winner in Master Of The Game - we watch Nicky Hendersons stables with interest, together with a 15/2 each way courtesy of our other favourite, Mr Tim Easterby. So a healthy day all round was had.
