Leeds have today rejected an offer of around £3.5million for the leading (and of of just a few) goalscorers from West Ham. No doubt seeing if they could take advantage of the mess that once again befalls Uniteds boardroom it was rejected but how robust that rejection was remains to be seen.
We understand West Ham are considering a further offer for the Scot who you will recall signed an improved 4 year deal in the summer.
The mess in the boardroom seems to - we believe - stem from GFH touting the club and seeking improved offers despite an agreement being in place, Of course as fans we are the last to know but the longer this goes on, and we think it will go on beyond the transfer window, again, the more manager McDermotts targets are blackballed, the more we run the risk of loosing not only McCormack but also our Manager. Who could blame hime for loosing faith and running out of patience...
