Tonight we are at Leeds Arena to see Josh Warrington take hopefully another step towards a world title. As long as the wifi hold up we will be blogging live from ringside..and I do mean ringside.
So sorry but the wifi died at this point and we couldnt load this page again... expect full review with pics and vid plus vid from the press conference too.
20.57 Tyrone wins
20.55 points decision but reckon this is Nurses fight...97 to 92
20.52. Tenth and final round,,still Tyrones,,just.. Liam is fighting back good combos but now Ty is giving it back..a momentary slug fest..
20.47 the eighth a more even affair..more clued up boxing people than I currently have this fight nurses by between 5 and 6 points.
20.41 Liam is down takes a count of 7 after a good cut from Tyrone
20.40 the sixth...ty certainly pulled out a few and seems to have hurt Liam..time will tell
20.35 round 5 sees a slight revival from the Huddersfield lad though he just got pulled for a low blow
20.31 end of round 4 And you do get the feeling Tyrone isn't ready for this...it is a late notice fight.. We do have him winning the first just but since then it's been downhill
20.21 early in round two and again Tyrone seems unable to get into his rythmn whilst taking some heavy though not damaging blows
20.15 Hudderisfields light welterweight Tyrone Nurse hopes for a better result than his last outing here when he lost, fairly on points . Liam Taylor is tonight's opponent in an 10 round bout.
20.07 victorious Jono talks to sky sports
20.04 Jono wins 60 to 54
20.03 Jono goes for. Broke but it's not enough for a long...points decision to follow. Must be Jono....
19.57 Approaching the end of round 5 and Carlos is increasingly clinging on. Growing feeling that this is Jonos fight though Carlos did land a couple of heavy blows. Final round,,
19.48 end of round two and we have Jono taking both rounds though Carlos looks to have something in him. The arena is far from full at the moment..most of the crowd seemingly in the nearby pubs.
Up at the moment 19.41 is Dublins Jono Caroll vs Carlos Perez of Spain.

BBC Good Food Spring Show 2015 Review
Its spring which means that the BBC Good Food show comes to Harrogate with its accompanying celeb chefs, its baffling guide dog and save cats stalls. The inevitable whisky cheeses and rapeseed oil stands too...they are so 2009,
With so much exciting stuff going on with street foods its odd that nobody has translated this into home cooking as the genre, and I hate that word, is so under represented.
This year it seems note has been made of a regular complaint from previous years, the show has expanded and aisles are wider. We visited on Friday 10/4 as the doors opened so it was quiet.
Todays main celeb draw are the Hairy Bikers and unfortunately we missed our slot to see them cook as were deep discussing curries or gin or something. We did catch up with them for a chat but that has been offered elsewhere as an exclusive currently.
The show was quiet, we expect higher degrees of madness tomorrow (saturday) and also sunday as Mary Berry, Paul Hollywood, James Martin and John Torode take to the stages.
So for now we would like to introduce you to some of our favourite people we met today..

Punjaban Curry Bases
http://www.punjaban.co.uk/ Twitter: @punjabancurry
Their philosophy is simple; No compromises on authenticity. It was these principals that were at the heart of the company when Charanjit Sapal (also know as Charlie) started the business in 2010. She still runs the company with her two children Gurjeet and Ria, and its was Gurjeet we had the pelasure of meeting today.
When he went to university he missed her home cooked food so much that Charlie sent her sauce up for him to use. This become a regular occurrence and she began to cook a batch every day! Little did she know that Gurjeet had enormous demand for the delicious sauce from his friends and he had started selling it around the campus for beer money. Sounds like a belting plan.
When the truth finally revealed itself the family knew there was a demand for something more traditional and that is how Punjaban was born.
We tried several varieties and were very impressed, the tastes and textures reminded us of currys had on our travels across Kerala in South West India. A real authentic flavour in your home, none of this synthetic curry english currys, and we will be sure to order more!
Urban Herbs
http://www.urban-herbs.co.uk/ Twitter @urban_herbs
Urban Herbs is a small family run business set up in 2012 to grow and produce a wide variety of culinary and unusual herbs and spices. They dont grow in bulk but pride ourselves on a constantly changing product and availability range.
Whilst their polytunnels produce classic culinary herbs such as Basil, Thyme and Tarragon – what really interests us is the unusual and exciting varieties such as Chocolate Mint, Pineapple Sage and Vietnamese Coriander that are on offer. Particular faves amongst the good wife and I were the hot n spicy oregano, the orange thyme and the regular Rocket which seemed to be especially peppery to us.
Unfortunately they cannot offer mail order and are in the West Midlands, well that's unfortunate for us as we are in West Yorkshire and forgot to call back to pick up a tray full of stuff. Anyhow, see their website for forthcoming appearances at shows and markets. And if you happen to be visiting this weekend let us know as we want some stuff!!
Portobello Road Gin
http://www.portobelloroadgin.com/ Twitter @portobello_gin
This year there were probably more Gin botherers than last and having heavily backed Yorkshire very own Masons gin last time out, we were on the look out for something different. Hmm..these guys dont use lime or lemon but actually use grapefruit...okay, lets look further..
I wont go all gin snobby on you so this is how they describe it...it has a generous slug of juniper and a sustained fresh citrus charachter, developing with the use of nutmeg into a warm peppery finish. Have spent the intervening hours between returning home and writing this engaging in said gin with endless twists of grapefruit al fresco we can say we love it and its warm peppery finish.
Suffice to say our plans for a lads London pale ale tour this August are under review with a visit to the ginstitute distinctly in the offing.

Cellino - A Man With No Ambition For Leeds
First things first, anyone who cares to look back through this sites posting will see that I did not want Cellino at this club. What is less apparent but nonetheless there is that once installed I backed him. Better to back him and give him a chance.
That chance has had plenty of opportunities to appear but today's events prove once and for all that Cellino et all do no want a successful Leeds, not in any way shape over form.
Now unless Steve Thompson has done something wildly outrageous and damaging at Leeds - and I have heard some amazing theories today - his sacking today was unwarranted and on the whim of Salerno, at the behest we must assume of Cellino.
Here's an interesting point though, its widely reported that Thommo is sacked. The pathetic official statement says suspended. Now I have been suspended at work before, I hadnt done anything wrong and it was purely to take me out of a situation while (in my case) someone else was investigated. The point being that a suspension has no finality about it. Sacking does, so which is it.
The comments from ER say its an internal matter which is a roundabout way of saying that Thommo did something. Hopefully he chinned Salerno and kicked him in the knackers when he got the mistake riddled letter. I think it is a spineless comment from a spineless club.
Under Redders and Thompson we have rediscovered pride in the shirt and have played with real gritty bollocks when needed, grinding our results. They have introduced a raft of real talent and have more knocking on the door Those talented kids respect Thommo and especially Redders and will stay at Leeds given the chance to develop under him. No doubt. For many the coming 2015/16 season held much promise, we had grounds for optimism, a rare commodity.
The fact that neither of them had been offered a new contract was shockingly poor. As was the unaddressed contracts of those who had done so much for this club this year.
So anyone undoing that partnership without very good reason has much less that the success of this club at heart
Make no mistake, with Thommo seemingly gone, its in the lap of the gods as to whether Redders stays, If he goes then make no mistake Cook and one or two other will be so disenchanted as to court interest from bigger and more aspirational clubs.
The final nail. the revelation of continued intervention in the team with the news of Antenucci. Given an incentivised contract but then stopped from achieving it. This tells you that Cellino brought Mirco here believing he wasn't good enough and couldn't achieve what was on the table. Again a contract devised by someone who doesnt have success for the club as his main aim.
Todays two stories prove that Cellino does not want us to succeed. How can he?...stop our leading scorer from adding to his tally and break up the partnership that had clicked into place and made the second half of the season a relative joy. God only knows what he would have done had we been seriously pushing for the play offs....
My personal belief is that Tommo is sacked in the hope of prompting Neil to quit..thus clearing the decks for whatever set of inbred selfcentred non achievers he is selling to.
So tonight I am emailing the football league imploring them to investigate which puny white flagged italian hand is still calling the shots. To slightly misquote the Pet Shop Boys, What have we done to deserve this...

Bingley Music Live add more stella acts...
Bingley Music Live have added further bands to their James announcement earlier this week.
This hugely impressive and valuetastic fest have added Labrinth, Ash, Cast, Peter Hook and the Light, Funeral For a Friend and Rae Morris as the next six acts to join the bill for Bingley Music Live.
These six new names join James, Embrace and Ella Eyre on the line up for Myrtle Park's 'last great party of the summer' on 4-6 September.
Labrinth is the second headliner announced for this year's Bingley Music Live, joining classic band of the British music scene and champions of the madchester era, James.
Embrace, following something of a hiatus returned with a series of secret gigs – we were at the first at an old Mill in Bradford. A totally bizarre event, meet in a car park, surrender phones etc.. led through dark dank corridors while an air – raid siren turned over somewhere in the distance. Deeper and darker, until we enter a room where there is a gentle hum in the darkness. The band play mostly their (then) upcoming new album illuminated only by glowsticks. Gig over we file out through those same corridors, reclaim our valuables and back into the carpark.
Septembers gig in the expanses of Myrtle Park and that famous Yorkshire sunshine will be different again, an impressive back catalogue, who won’t give their all to Come Back To What You Know and All You Good Good People.
Ella Eyre, perennial contributor to hits by Rudimental, Naughty Boy as well as working with Bastille, XX. This year she supports Olly Murs on his tour as well as having written Germanys Eurovision entry.
More announcements due soon. Bingley Music Live takes place 4th - 6th September and tickets are frozen at just £49 + booking for the whole weekend. Even better move quick and book by this Saturday (28th) and you can spread the costs over 5 months interest free and pay just £14.70 now.

Morrisey Live Review - Leeds Arena March 2015
Morrissey Leeds Arena 20/3/15It’s no secret, I am a tad Mozza obsessed, long confirmed and loyal. Despite this I am not afraid to call out Stephen Patrick when I feel at times his personal circumstances meant that set lists were full of the more morose and plodding b-sides and album tracks, singularly fine, but back to back dull.
For his first visit to this arena we welcome an almost celebratory Moz, his intro video as eclectic as ever, Edit Sitwell, James Cagney, Nico, of course the New York Dolls and touchingly, Fade to Grey by Visage in tribute to the recently departed Steve Strange.
Against a back drop of the Queen giving her subjects the bird, Morrissey delivered a killer double head of The Queen is Dead and Suedehead, to the sheer delight of his adoring crowd.
His most recent album, World Peace is None of your Business gained critical and commercial success and is represented here by a seven of its tracks, I’m Throwing My Arms Around Paris very nearly seeing the girl in front of me throw herself of the balcony as she ably acted out its refrain.
Oh how I wish I were in the thronging mass as Trouble Loves Me plays “Show me a barrel and watch me scrape it / Faced with the music as always I'll face it / In the half-light / So English....frowning / Then at midnight, I
Cant get you of my head”. Circumstances dictate that I am, albeit gratefully, in the seats for the first time ever watching Moz.
Irish Blood comes perfectly timed as we teeter on the verge of another election. Though I have, in my past been quite active politically, I am now as dissatisfied as ever and remain as anti-royalist and so I stand and bellow every word like it WILL make a difference.
Morriseys heritage is well represented as always and like the rest of the set find him in extremely good voice, his band very ably led by long term collaborator and musical director Boz Boorer. As well as Queen is Dead we delight in What She Said / Rubber Ring, Stop Me, and Meat Is Murder. The latter accompanied by a truly horrific film in case the ban on meat products being sold around this arena hadn’t got the message across.First of the Gang To Die closes and is the key for Matt Walker to quite half heartedly trash his drum set. Need to practice that a bit Matt.
2015 finds Morrissey in good voice and with a very tight band behind him with the recent addition of Mondo Lopez on bass. Further excursions into castanets and flamenco seem possible, with an appearance on Alan Carr imminent, don’t rule out a Strictly appearance just yet… “Stephen Patrick will dance the pasodoble”

How Travel Republic Showed Contempt for Everyone
Update 18.47 16/03/2015
Just a minor update to this story…
On Monday morning 16/03 we got a series of tweets from Travel Republic, saying initially that they had updated their blog and wouldn’t be using the offending video in future marketing. They went on to apologise for any upset and assured us that this wasn’t intentional. I asked why it took so long when they had been alerted to copyright problems within minutes and therefore were aware it contravened their rules.. They said they wanted to make sure all the team were aware and that lessons have been learn. The prize had however been awarded as they didn’t believe the entrant had deliberately broken any rules.
There is the crux and your get out in future. As long as you do not deliberately not retweet or not follow someone on twitter…as long as you don’t deliberately flout anything else then you are ok.
We then had a quick look at their blog and it was the most ridiculous thing I have seen since, well, Katie Price was last on TV. Under rule 6 (which, to refresh you required you to ensure that they can reuse this video however they wish) they had tacked on an apology for not enforcing it. “it has been pointed out to us (so they didn’t notice themselves copyrighted music, video and product images) that the competition winner contains incidental elements of copyrighted material (well not incidental, the music is used in approx. 50% of the video, the nivea sun cream approx. 30% and the videos approx. 60%) and us such (we think they mean “as such”) we will not be using this in our future communications”
So in summary, the rule was broken, but so what. Travel Republic really should have noticed this but didn’t. The entrant apparently didn’t know he had nicked music, video and imagery from the internet so he must be absolved. If only someone had told Travel Republic there was a problem…oh hang on we collectively did, within minutes, on Twitter and facebook but they ignored us on twitter and deleted our comments on facebook (and yes, we checked with those people whose comments went missing and of the 4 that went, three have replied and confirmed they didnt delete their own post)
Travel Republic have now removed the whole winning tweet and facebook post. They know they got it horribly wrong but did nothing to stop it even when they had a chance… and hundreds of customers, including the 10,500+ who have read this entry up to this update, who didn’t break the rules aren’t going to Thailand. Lessons learnt then for them…you now know how to win! Rules are for losers.
Our inbox began bulging earlier today (13/03/15) with various headers but mostly involving the words "cheat" "illegal" or "disgusted"
One common thread to all these emails was Travel Republic and a competition they had run entitled #DearSummer.
The idea was to use words, pictures, video, whatever you wanted to convey how much you love summer,
Take on the competition was huge as we saw and at 12.00pm today they announced their winner.. well they were a little late but hey, thats nothing to the furore that then errupted,
The winning video, whilst admittedly was hosted on Youtube. The video contains music which contravenes copyright law as no permission is given, making it illegal. Additionally a product made by Nivea is featured, again without permission. This also is illegal. It is clear that Nivea have been made aware of this, both these infringements means the video should not hosted on Youtube.
You might view that this doesnt really matter, in the grand scheme of things is it important. Maybe.
Except these copyright infringement causes Travel Republic a problem because of their own rules.. Point 6 of their rules:
6. Entering this competition grants Travel Republic a perpetual, irrevocable and royalty-free license to use any material entered in future communications.
Because of the copyright infringement which Travel Republic are now complicit in owing to the reposting and retaining of the offending clip despite warning being given to them on social media within minutes, they are unable to have a perpetual, irrevocable and royalty free licence to use...in future communications. They have no rights and must pay royalties to use it even this once
The entry broke the rules and must be void, or else why rules?
At the time of writing Travel Republic have not posted anything else nor commented at all. Its clear this will not go away and irreparable damage will be done to their reputation. Already words like unreliable, untrustworthy, shady are being bandied. Not good for a travel company.
One final thing, we noticed that on their facebook page that announced the winner, comments, admittedly highly critical kept disappearing. Even now, it lists 6 comments but only 3 are visible, the three missing ones? the three most critical. We know as we have the screen grabs.. Did Travel Republic remove them..who knows but it seems unlikely three separate people all decided to delete their own posts within seconds of each other.
Travel Republic need to speak, come clean and admit they made a mistake, then we can repair this mess, which only looks like getting messier.

Travel Republic need to speak, come clean and admit they made a mistake, then we can repair this mess, which only looks like getting messier.
